Overview
The Zid integration allows Sirdab to automatically capture and fulfill the orders you receive on your Zid store.
Once connected, every order from Zid is synced directly to your Sirdab account, where it can be stored, processed, and delivered to your customers seamlessly.
Prerequisites
Important: You need a Sirdab merchant account before installing the Zid app.
Don’t worry, creating one takes less than a minute.
Go to sirdab.app/sign-up and enter your information.
Select "Wholesale warehousing and E-commerce fulfillment"
Done
Once you finish signing up, your Sirdab account is ready and you can proceed to connecting your Zid store.
If you plan to start fulfillment immediately, you can also request a warehouse quote and submit your first inbound right inside the Sirdab dashboard.
Zid Inventory
Before installing our app, make sure to create an inventory in Zid. If no inventory exists, Zid will prevent the installation and show an error.
Activation and Authorization
To connect Sirdab with Zid, you first need to activate the Sirdab app from the Zid Store. After activation, you’ll need to complete the connection through the Sirdab portal to fully authorize our app.
Product Mapping
In order to fulfill your Zid orders, Sirdab needs to know which SKU or Bundle (grouped products) in Sirdab corresponds to your products or product variants in Zid. This process is called Product Mapping. It’s extremely important that all your products are mapped before Sirdab can fulfill your orders.
If Sirdab receives a fulfillment order with an unidentified product, it will delay fulfillment for your customers until the products have been mapped.
It’s important to add the product price as well. Regardless of whether you use the recommended approach or manual product mapping, the price must be entered.
Recommended approach: use an SKU number for all your products on Sirdab and Zid
The recommended flow for mapping products is:
Make sure to create all the SKUs or Bundles (groupd products) on Sirdab’s platform corresponding to all your Zid products, and
Use the SKU number field on both Zid and Sirdab to identify products
By default, Sirdab tries to auto-link your Zid product to an SKU or Bundle (groupd products) on the Sirdab platform using Zid’s product Product Code SKU field (رمز المنتج SKU). Sirdab looks for a Bundle or SKU whose SKU Number number field matches Zid’s sku field.
For this reason, we highly recommend that you use the SKU number field on both Zid and Sirdab when creating SKUs to minimize product mapping errors.
Manual mapping
While we highly recommend against this approach for products, if for some reason you cannot use SKU numbers, then you can still tell Sirdab how to link products manually by visiting the manage integration page and either manually mapping your products to an existing SKU or bundle (grouped products), or creating a new SKU and mapping it to it.
What does Sirdab do if it receives an order with unmapped products?
If we receive an order containing products which cannot be mapped to SKUs or Bundles (grouped products) on Zid, we will not be able to fulfill them. You will receive an email telling you which order was rejected and containing the ID of the unmapped product so you can take action.
Once you fixed the issue, if you are using make sure to retry the failed order using the instructions listed under the “Retrying failed orders” below.
How Sirdab Fulfills your orders
When you select Sirdab as your shipping method, your order will be automatically sent to Sirdab for fulfillment. We’ll handle the entire process and keep your order status and tracking information updated on Zid in real time for a smooth delivery experience. 🚚
Cancelling Sirdab’s fulfillment of orders
Please note that we cannot cancel orders which have already left the warehouse or which have already been prepared. If we’re unable to cancel an order, we’ll email you with the reason why.
Canceling an order is simple. Just mark the order as canceled on Zid, and Sirdab will automatically cancel it on our side as well. ✅
Retrying failed orders
When Sirdab receives your orders from Zid, there are two main reasons they could fail
Lack of inventory. Sirdab does not have the Zid order’s products in stock
Unmapped products. Sirdab does not know which SKUs or Bundles (grouped products) correspond to the Zid products in the order
If this happens, you need to address the root cause of the failure, either by sending inventory to Sirdab through an inbound shipment or by mapping the unmapped products as described.
Once the issue is resolved, you’ll need to retry the order by cancelling it and then reactivating it through the Zid portal.
