Overview
You can now change a fulfillment order after it has been placed: the customer's details, the delivery address, the items on the order, and the delivery type. You no longer need to cancel and recreate an order to fix a mistake.
When can I edit an order?
You can edit an order while its status is Created or Missing Address.
Once our warehouse starts preparing the order, editing is locked. The Edit buttons stay visible but appear disabled, and hovering over them shows the reason. If you need to change an order that is already being prepared, contact support through the chat and we will unlock it for you.
⚠️ The shipping label (AWB) is generated when the warehouse starts preparing your order. Everything you fix while the order is still in Created will be reflected on the shipping label. Tracking information appears once preparing starts.
Edit customer details
Open the order from Fulfillment → Orders.
In the Customer Details card, click Edit.
Update the first name, last name, phone, or email and click Save.
The phone number must be a valid Saudi mobile number.
Clearing the email field removes the saved email for this customer.
💡 If the Edit button is disabled with the message "This customer has another order in progress": this customer is shared with another one of your orders that is already being prepared or shipped. To protect that shipment's documents, customer details are locked until the other order is delivered. You can still edit this order's address and items.
Edit the delivery address
In the Location Details card, click Edit.
For orders inside Saudi Arabia, enter the national address short code (4 letters + 4 digits, e.g.
RRRD1234). Street, district, city, and zip are filled automatically from the national address system. For international orders, edit the full address fields directly.
Click Save.
💡 On an order in Missing Address status, saving a valid short code also completes the address verification: the order becomes ready for fulfillment in one step. The same sharing rule applies here: if another in-progress order uses this address, editing is locked until it is delivered.
Edit the items (SKUs)
In the Order SKUs section, while the order is editable you can:
Add an item: pick the SKU or bundle, set the quantity and unit price, and confirm. Only items with available stock can be added.
Change quantity or price: click Edit on the row, adjust, and save.
Remove an item: click Remove on the row and confirm.
The order total recalculates automatically after every change.
Warehouse stock is reserved immediately when you add items or increase quantities. If there is not enough stock, the change is rejected on the spot with a message naming the item; nothing is partially applied.
Change the delivery type
While the order is in Created you can switch between:
Sirdab Express Delivery: we ship the order through our carrier network. The shipping label is generated when preparing starts.
Own Delivery: you deliver the order yourself and can upload your own AWB document to the order.
Use the pencil next to Delivery Option on the order details page. Switching is instant and works in either direction while the order is still in Created.
Important: orders from Salla, Zid, and Shopify
Edits you make in the Sirdab portal are not sent back to your sales channel. The order in Salla / Zid / Shopify keeps its original details, and your customer's storefront confirmation does not change. Sirdab will pick, ship, and label the order according to what you set in the portal. Any refunds or price adjustments with your customer are handled in your sales channel as usual.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the Edit button greyed out?
Hover over it: the tooltip tells you why. Either the order has already started preparing (contact support to change it), or the customer/address is shared with another of your orders that is currently in progress.
I edited the order. Will the shipping label be correct?
Yes. The label is generated when the warehouse starts preparing, from the order's details at that moment. Anything you fixed before then is included.
Can I edit an order after it shipped?
No. Once shipped, use the return flow or contact support.
Does editing change what my customer sees in my store?
No. Your sales channel keeps the original order. Only the Sirdab-side fulfillment (what we pick, where we ship, and the label) follows your edits.
