Close an inbound once the team has moved the goods onto the shelves. Completing it turns them into live stock the merchant can see and any outbound can reserve from.
Before you start: the status must read Put Away and every row on the Inventory tab needs a location. If one shows "---", assign it first.
1. Open Inbounds under Wholesale in the side menu, search for your inbound's number, and press it.
2. Open the Inventory tab and check every row has an address in the Location column.
3. Press Complete Inbound at the top, and the status changes straight to Completed.
Good to know
Completing notifies the merchant and your warehouse admins, so don't press it while the goods are still sitting in receiving.
"All inventory must have locations assigned before completing" means a piece still has no location. Refresh, assign it on the Inventory tab, and press again.
If the button says Start Placing, your warehouse uses a scanner: scan a location barcode, then each item's label. Complete Inbound appears after that.
