Log the truck's arrival, upload the goods received note, and hand the shipment to quality control.
Before you start: the inbound must be in Created. Have a photo of the truck, the picking slip and a photo of the goods before unloading ready, plus the goods received note as a PDF or a photo.
1. Open Inbounds under Wholesale in the side menu, switch to the Created tab, and press the number of the order that just arrived.
2. Press Start Receiving at the top of the page.
3. Attach the truck photo, the picking slip and the goods photo, then press Save.
4. On the receiving screen, press Browse Files and pick the goods received note.
5. When the note shows Processed, press Finish Receiving · Move To QC.
Common questions
What is the goods received note? It's your team's own receiving sheet: the list of what actually came off the truck, with the product, SKU code, quantity, unit, and expiry date or lot number where there is one. Printed or handwritten both work. Prices, totals and tax on it are ignored.
Can I upload a photo, or a note with several pages? Yes. Upload a PDF or photos, up to 5 files at once, 10 MB each. Files you upload together are read as one note, so send every page in the same upload.
Do I type the quantities anywhere? No. The system reads them from the note. Nothing goes into stock yet: in Quality Control you check every line, fix anything it read wrong, and add lines it missed.
What if the delivery doesn't match the order? Write down what really arrived. Quality Control shows the differences against what the merchant sent before you finish.
It says "We couldn't read this document". Upload it again as a clearer scan or a flat, well-lit photo with the whole page in frame.
It says "We haven't heard back about this document". Press Check Again. If it still has no answer, upload the note again.
I uploaded the wrong file. Upload the right one. The newest upload is the one that counts.
Where do I find an inbound I already started? Open Workstation under Wholesale and press Resume on it, or press Continue Receiving on the inbound's page.
I pressed Start Receiving on the wrong inbound. Contact Sirdab support before doing anything else on that inbound.
Who can do this? Anyone on your team who has access to the warehouse. You don't need the Admin role.
